Airport Properties Manager
Job Summary
Managing an on-airport real estate portfolio, the full-time remote Airport Properties Manager will negotiate Airport Use Agreements and Lease Agreements, serve as FedEx's representative at assigned airports, and interact with high-level executives in the industry.
Key responsibilities
- Negotiate principal business terms of leases and manage site/building selection and due diligence activities
- Lead lease or use agreement document negotiations, collaborating with Legal, Risk Management, and Environmental Management
- Conduct market analysis and report on local and airport issues impacting FedEx operations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Aviation Management, or related discipline with AAE or CM accreditation
- Seven years of related experience in commercial real estate, focusing on airport properties or management
- Expertise in negotiating airport use agreements and leases, and understanding airport rate-setting methodologies
- Strong negotiation, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
