Airworthiness Certification Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer-Systems Level 4 to support safety-critical aerospace programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support airworthiness certification activities by ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
• Evaluate and validate certification artifacts and system documentation using AC 17-01 and MIL-HDBK-516C
• Collaborate with engineering teams to align software and system design with certification requirements

Required Qualifications:

• 6-8 years of experience in airworthiness certification
• Strong knowledge of AC 17-01 and/or MIL-HDBK-516C processes
• Experience in safety-critical environments
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry
• Advanced degrees may substitute for years of experience (Master's or PhD)
