AIX Developer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time AIX Developer, the successful candidate will design, develop, implement, and maintain AIX-based systems and applications for critical IT projects within the federal government, particularly supporting the Indian Health Service (IHS).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement complex scripts and applications on AIX platforms to meet business needs
• Perform advanced AIX system administration tasks, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
• Develop automation scripts to streamline operational tasks and improve efficiency

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience as an AIX System Administrator or Developer
• Advanced proficiency in shell scripting and at least one other programming language (e.g., Python, Perl)
• In-depth knowledge of AIX operating system internals and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance
