Akamai Bot Management Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time salaried capacity, the Akamai Bot Management Specialist will ensure the integrity and accuracy of digital traffic by monitoring and analyzing traffic patterns, partnering with various teams to validate analytics implementations, and configuring Akamai Bot Management policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor traffic quality across multiple dealership websites and analyze patterns to identify invalid traffic
• Collaborate with the Analytics team to ensure accurate implementation of Google Analytics 4 and server-side tagging
• Develop dashboards to measure human versus automated traffic and validate analytics configurations before website launches

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM), including server-side GTM
• Hands-on experience with Akamai Bot Management and understanding of CDN platforms
• Experience with dashboard tools like Looker, Power BI, Tableau, or Grafana
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on HTTP requests, cookies, and traffic classification
• Experience investigating analytics discrepancies and attribution issues
