Akamai Bot Management Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time salaried capacity, the Akamai Bot Management Specialist will ensure the integrity and quality of traffic across digital properties by monitoring traffic, analyzing patterns to identify invalid sessions, and partnering with various teams to validate analytics implementations and optimize bot management configurations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor traffic quality across dealership websites and analyze patterns to identify bots and invalid sessions
• Collaborate with the Analytics team to ensure accurate GA4 implementations and validate analytics before website launches
• Configure and optimize Akamai Bot Management policies while developing dashboards to measure human versus automated traffic

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM), including server-side GTM
• Hands-on experience with Akamai Bot Management and understanding of CDN platforms
• Experience with dashboard tools such as Looker, Power BI, Tableau, or Grafana
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate analytics discrepancies and attribution issues
• Knowledge of HTTP, cookies, browser behavior, and JavaScript
