Akamai Bot Management Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time salaried capacity, the Akamai Bot Management Specialist will ensure the integrity and quality of traffic across digital properties by monitoring traffic patterns, analyzing bot detection, and validating analytics implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor traffic quality across multiple dealership websites and analyze patterns to identify invalid traffic
• Partner with the Analytics team to ensure accurate implementation of Google Analytics 4 and server-side tagging
• Configure and optimize Akamai Bot Management policies while minimizing false positives and ensuring a seamless user experience

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM), including server-side GTM
• Hands-on experience with Akamai Bot Management and understanding of CDN platforms
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker, Power BI, Tableau, or Grafana
• Strong analytical skills with experience investigating analytics discrepancies and attribution issues
• Knowledge of HTTP, cookies, browser behavior, headers, and JavaScript
