Akumina Architect

Job Summary

To drive the next generation of the digital workplace, the contract Akumina Architect will modernize and scale an enterprise intranet platform from 1,100 to over 40,000 users, leveraging Akumina, Microsoft SharePoint Online, and AI technologies while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a highly scalable intranet platform and modern digital workplace capabilities
• Architect integrations between Microsoft 365, Azure, Snowflake, and enterprise applications
• Provide technical leadership to engineering teams while mentoring developers and establishing engineering standards

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering and architecture experience
• Experience leading large-scale enterprise platforms supporting tens of thousands of users
• Demonstrated success in designing highly available cloud-native solutions
• Prior healthcare experience is desired
