AL & SC Licensed Claims Adjuster

Job Summary

Seeking a temporary full-time Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster, licensed in AL & SC, to adjudicate complex indemnity claims from anywhere in the United States, while managing claims investigations, reporting on trends, and negotiating settlements.

Key responsibilities:

• Adjudicate higher complexity workers' compensation claims with a focus on achieving timely resolutions
• Investigate claims thoroughly, including interviewing involved parties and analyzing relevant documentation
• Prepare reports and communicate claims trends to senior management and underwriters

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of five years' experience adjudicating workers' compensation claims in AL, SC, and TN
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience with insurance designations
• Licenses required in both AL & SC at the start of the assignment
• Strong negotiation skills and a good understanding of insurance operations
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and capable of working independently with sound judgment
