Alabama Licensed Accountant

Job Summary

To support revenue accounting efforts, the remote full-time Alabama Licensed Accountant will manage patient and facility revenue, ensuring accurate financial records and timely reconciliations while collaborating with stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Perform facility-related revenue accounting activities within prescribed time schedules and guidelines
• Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Analyze financial results and variances, preparing reports for stakeholders and resolving outstanding issues

Required qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in corporate accounting, public accounting, or finance
• BS in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Access, SQL, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Working knowledge of patient accounting systems and revenue cycle processes
• PeopleSoft Hyperion experience preferred
