Alabama Licensed Appellate Attorney

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Appellate Attorney.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic direction on litigation and appellate matters
• Serve as lead appellate counsel on matters in both federal and state trial and appellate courts
• Manage all stages of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, settlement negotiations, trial, and appeal

Required Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Preferred Federal Court clerking experience at District or Court of Appeals
• Licensed and in good standing to practice law in state of residence
• Minimum 10 years of litigation and appellate experience, preferably with some federal level experience
• Demonstrated ability to oversee multiple matters simultaneously
