Alabama Licensed Billing Associate

Job Summary

To support a growing medical practice, the full-time Alabama Licensed Billing Associate will manage patient account payments, accurately code medical claims, and handle insurance verifications while working remotely from Alabama.

Key responsibilities

• Collects, posts, and manages patient account payments and prepares patient statements
• Codes medical claims accurately and sends them electronically to insurance payers daily
• Handles inbound and outbound calls regarding insurance verification and patient inquiries

Required qualifications

• Official High School Transcripts, Diploma, or Equivalency Certificate
• Ability to navigate multiple computer systems while handling phone calls
• CPB or other Medical Billing Certification desired, but not required
• CPC or Medical Coding Certification desired, but not required
