Job Summary

A company is looking for a Call Center Scheduler to manage incoming calls and appointment scheduling for clinic locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer and greet patients over the phone, scheduling appointments and orienting them to services
  • Document patient demographic and insurance information accurately in the Vision system
  • Verify insurance pre-certification requirements and initiate the referral process as needed
Required Qualifications
  • High School graduate with formal training from a vocational school or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in a call center or centralized scheduling setting
  • Knowledge of general medical terminology and managed care functions
  • Working knowledge of electronic health records (EHR), Vision system, and MS Office
