Alabama Licensed Child Psychiatrist

Job Summary

To support a growing network, an Alabama Licensed Child Psychiatrist will provide evidence-based treatment through virtual 60-minute video appointments, conducting psychiatric evaluations and medication management on a contract basis.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and create individualized treatment plans
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques and medication management strategies for various mental health conditions
• Foster a collaborative treatment environment by educating families and involving them in care planning

Required qualifications:

• Board-certified or -eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with an active license in at least one state
• Experience providing telehealth therapy services in a virtual environment preferred
• Computer and live video tools literacy (e.g., Zoom, Google Meets)
• Demonstrated family engagement skills and experience working with children and adolescents
• Commitment to JCAHO guidelines and competency in accredited practice frameworks
