Job Summary
Seeking a motivated Alabama Licensed Commercial Underwriter, the fully remote position will evaluate and price risks, manage new and renewal business, and build strong agency partnerships to support profitable growth.
Key responsibilities:
- Reviewing and underwriting new business submissions, renewals, endorsements, and policy changes
- Evaluating risks and making sound underwriting decisions within established authority
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with independent agency partners
Required qualifications:
- 15+ years of underwriting experience
- Property & Casualty license required
- Surplus Lines license required
- Knowledge of Excess & Surplus Lines insurance products and markets
- Experience developing and implementing marketing or business-development strategies
