Job Summary

A company is looking for a Crisis Counselor, fully remote in Huntsville, AL.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide empathetic telephonic support and crisis intervention to individuals in distress
• Assess emotional and behavioral health concerns and provide resources and safety planning
• Maintain accurate documentation and multitask while using multiple software systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited 4-year college or university
• Minimum of 1 year of direct experience in behavioral health, counseling, or social services
• Ability to work in a distraction-free, private office space with a locked door
• Reliable hard-wired broadband or fiber internet connection with minimum speeds of 10 Mbps
• Availability to work weekends and holidays post-training
