Job Summary
Providing compassionate telephonic support, the full-time Alabama Licensed Crisis Counselor will deliver emotional support, risk assessment, and crisis intervention services remotely while managing a high volume of calls and ensuring a professional, solution-focused care experience.
Key responsibilities
- Provide empathetic and professional telephonic support to individuals in distress
- Assess emotional and behavioral health concerns and intervene in emergent situations
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure a secure, HIPAA-compliant home workspace
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited 4-year college or university
- Minimum of 1 year of direct experience in behavioral health, counseling, or social services
- Ability to manage stress effectively in a high-demand environment
- Strong multitasking skills while navigating multiple software systems
- Availability for regular weekend and holiday shifts post-training
