Job Summary
As a full-time, fully remote Alabama Licensed Crisis Counselor, the successful candidate will provide telephonic emotional support, crisis intervention, and risk assessment services to individuals in distress while maintaining professionalism and clarity in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide empathetic and professional telephonic support to individuals experiencing distress
- Assess emotional and behavioral health concerns, including risk levels and safety issues
- Maintain accurate documentation and navigate multiple software systems effectively
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- Minimum of one year of direct experience in behavioral health, counseling, or social services
- Alabama residency required for remote work
- Ability to maintain a distraction-free, private office space for HIPAA compliance
- Availability for regular weekend and holiday shifts post-training
