Job Summary

To support patient needs, the part-time hourly Alabama Licensed Healthcare Support Specialist will manage inbound and outbound calls, assist with benefit verification, and troubleshoot issues related to healthcare services in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist patients with benefit verification and determine out-of-pocket costs and eligibility for free benefit coverage
• Navigate patients through the website and troubleshoot issues to facilitate access to requested therapies
• Provide support for multiple client products or programs while maintaining comprehensive knowledge of services offered

Required qualifications

• Minimum of two years of recent high-level medical insurance experience
• Extensive prior experience in the U.S. healthcare and reimbursement industry
• Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to learn necessary processes and procedures
• Experience assisting Medicare patients and navigating healthcare websites
• Demonstrated patience and empathy in customer interactions
