Alabama Licensed Loss Mitigation Liaison

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Loss Mitigation Liaison I.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for mortgage loan borrowers regarding loss mitigation options and foreclosure processes
• Handle inbound and outbound calls, answer consumer inquiries, and document interactions in the mortgage servicing system
• Collect financial information, explain loss mitigation decisions, and communicate liquidation options as necessary

Required Qualifications

• A combined 4 years of higher education and/or work experience, including at least 1 year in collections or customer service
• Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally over the phone
• Excellent customer service skills
• Mortgage collections experience is preferred
