Alabama Licensed Loss Mitigation Liaison

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Loss Mitigation Liaison I, responsible for managing the loss mitigation process for mortgage loan borrowers.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Single Point of Contact for delinquent mortgage loan borrowers, handling inbound and outbound calls
• Assist borrowers by collecting financial information and explaining loss mitigation options and foreclosure processes
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and maintain internal control standards throughout the loss mitigation process

Required Qualifications

• A combined 4 years of higher education and/or work experience, including at least 1 year in collections or customer service
• Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally over the phone
• Excellent customer service skills
• Mortgage collections experience is preferred
