Alabama Licensed Loss Mitigation Liaison

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Loss Mitigation Liaison I.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Single Point of Contact throughout the loss mitigation process, managing communication with delinquent mortgage loan borrowers
• Collect consumer financial information and assist borrowers with loss mitigation documents while ensuring compliance with applicable laws
• Explain loss mitigation decisions and foreclosure processes to consumers, maintaining adherence to internal control standards

Required Qualifications

• A combined 4 years of higher education and/or work experience, including at least 1 year in collections or customer service
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally over the phone
• Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software
• Excellent customer service skills
• Mortgage collections experience is preferred
