Alabama Licensed Loss Mitigation Liaison

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Loss Mitigation Liaison I, responsible for managing the loss mitigation process for mortgage loan borrowers.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for delinquent mortgage loan borrowers, facilitating loss mitigation options and foreclosure processes
• Document borrower interactions and provide information regarding loss mitigation approvals, declines, and appeals
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain internal control standards throughout the process

Required Qualifications

• A combined 4 years of higher education and/or relevant work experience, including 1 year in collections or customer service
• Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally over the phone
• Excellent customer service skills
• Mortgage collections experience is preferred
