Job Summary

A company is looking for a Loss Mitigation Liaison I to manage the loss mitigation process for mortgage loan borrowers.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Single Point of Contact for delinquent mortgage loan borrowers, handling calls and inquiries regarding loss mitigation options
• Collect consumer financial information and assist borrowers in understanding loss mitigation documents and processes
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and maintain internal control standards throughout the loss mitigation process

Required Qualifications

• A combined 4 years of higher education and/or work experience, including at least 1 year in collections or customer service
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally over the phone
• Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software
• Excellent customer service skills
• Knowledge of mortgage collections is preferred
