Job Summary

Acting as the Single Point of Contact throughout the loss mitigation process, the full-time Alabama Licensed Loss Mitigation Liaison will manage inbound and outbound communications with delinquent mortgage borrowers, ensuring compliance with regulations while assisting them with loss mitigation options and foreclosure processes remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Handle calls to and from a portfolio of delinquent mortgage loan borrowers, guiding them through loss mitigation options and foreclosure processes
  • Document consumer interactions and provide clear explanations of loss mitigation approvals, declines, and appeals
  • Maintain compliance with operational risk controls and promote a supportive environment reflecting the company brand
Required qualifications
  • A combined 4 years of higher education and/or work experience, including at least 1 year in collections or customer service
  • Effective and professional communication skills over the phone
  • Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software
  • Knowledge of compliance regulations related to consumer collection activity
  • Experience in mortgage collections is preferred
