Job Summary

A company is looking for a Loss Mitigation Underwriter I.

Key Responsibilities

• Submit loan modification workups for various investor workout options
• Communicate with customers and stakeholders to negotiate short sale settlements and advise on loss mitigation decisions
• Manage account portfolios to ensure compliance with banking policies and investor guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Combined 3 years of higher education and/or experience, with at least 1 year in collections or underwriting
• Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software
• Experience in customer service
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally over the phone
• Bachelor's degree preferred
