Job Summary

Experienced in mortgage processing, the full-time remote Alabama Licensed Mortgage Processor will manage loan applications, ensuring compliance with product and underwriting guidelines while facilitating communication between customers and internal departments.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain effective communication with all parties involved in the loan application process to ensure a seamless experience
• Obtain and verify necessary documentation for loan processing, including employment verification and appraisals
• Analyze credit reports and loan applications to assess qualifications and recommend solutions as needed

Required qualifications

• Associate's Degree or two years of equivalent work experience
• Two to three years of prior mortgage processing or underwriting experience
• Strong knowledge of product, investor, and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in PC skills, including Excel and Word
• Ability to function independently within time constraints in a fast-paced environment
