Job Summary

As a full-time remote Alabama Licensed Mortgage Processor, the successful candidate will manage the processing of complex loan applications, including renovation lending, while serving as a communication liaison between customers and the mortgage department.

Key responsibilities

• Review loan applications to assess qualifications and recommend solutions
• Clear conditions on residential mortgage loans in accordance with product and investor guidelines
• Maintain effective communication with all parties involved in the loan application process to ensure a seamless experience

Required qualifications

• Associate's Degree or 4 years of equivalent work experience
• 4+ years of prior mortgage processing or underwriting experience
• Strong knowledge of Excel, Word, Email Platforms, and Adobe
• Familiarity with product, investor, and compliance requirements
• Ability to adapt to new policies and procedures in a fast-paced environment
