Job Summary
Originating residential mortgage loans, the full-time Alabama Licensed Mortgage Representative will manage customer inquiries, coordinate mortgage applications, and negotiate loan terms while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and follow up on referrals from realtors, builders, and other sources to generate leads
- Sell mortgage financing to inbound customers and pre-qualify them for loans
- Coordinate mortgage application processes, including obtaining financial data and scheduling closings
Required qualifications
- Associate's degree and a minimum of 2 years of mortgage origination or customer service experience, or 4 years of combined higher education and work experience including 2 years in mortgage origination
- General knowledge of PC and departmental software
- Strong organizational and sales abilities
- Mathematical skills for analyzing financial data
- Understanding of mortgage products and government regulations
