Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mortgage Senior Underwriter responsible for underwriting mortgage loans and ensuring compliance with investor and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Underwrite FHA, VA, and conventional mortgage loans per product and investor guidelines
• Ensure compliance with investor requirements and federal/state regulations
• Perform risk assessment of credit and collateral to ensure loan saleability

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
• 2 years of relevant work experience plus 4-6 years of mortgage underwriting experience
• Direct Endorsement (DE) or LAPP approval preferred
• Thorough knowledge of DU/LP valuations and industry tools
• Understanding of credit risk and appraisal processes
