Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mortgage Senior Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities:

• Underwrite FHA, VA, and conventional mortgage loans per investor guidelines
• Ensure compliance with investor requirements and federal/state regulations
• Perform risk assessments of credit and collateral to ensure loan saleability

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or 2 years of relevant work experience plus 4-6 years of mortgage underwriting experience
• Direct Endorsement (DE) or LAPP approval preferred
• Full knowledge of credit risk and understanding of appraisals
• Thorough knowledge of DU/LP valuations and conforming/non-conforming guidelines
• Understanding of risk assessment processes related to credit and collateral
