Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mortgage Senior Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities:

• Underwrite FHA, VA, and conventional mortgage loans in compliance with investor guidelines
• Perform risk assessments of credit and collateral to ensure loan saleability
• Resolve post-closing issues and assist in expediting loan closings

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
• Minimum of 4 years mortgage underwriting experience with Direct Endorsement (DE) or LAPP approval
• Full knowledge of credit risk and understanding of appraisals
• Thorough knowledge of DU/LP valuations and applicable industry tools
• Experience with conforming and non-conforming guidelines
