Job Summary
To provide essential clinical care, the part-time Alabama Licensed Nurse Practitioner will conduct psychiatric evaluations, manage medication treatment, and engage with families through virtual appointments.
Key responsibilities:
- Practice comprehensive mental health medication management via 60-minute intake and follow-up appointments
- Conduct mental health risk assessments and construct patient-centered treatment plans
- Provide evidence-based treatment and document recommendations while managing psychiatric medications
Required qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program or accredited PA program with relevant certification
- Unrestricted state license in Alabama
- A minimum of 2 years in practice
- Strong preference for candidates with an active DEA license and additional certification or experience with minors
- Must have office space to see clients
