Job Summary
Seeking an Alabama Licensed Obesity Medicine Physician, the full-time remote position will provide longitudinal telehealth care for patients with obesity, focusing on evidence-based treatment and collaborating with a dedicated care team.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care and treatment planning for obesity management while collaborating with Registered Dietitians
- Participate in after-hours call schedule and ensure adherence to clinical documentation and treatment protocols
- Contribute to team-based care initiatives and assist in the professional development of advanced practice professionals
Required qualifications:
- MD or DO degree with board certification in Obesity Medicine or Endocrinology
- Active medical license in Alabama, Missouri, or Mississippi, or valid Letter of Qualification through IMLC
- Experience in telemedicine and collaborative care with advanced practice professionals and registered dietitians
- Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to high-quality, evidence-based care
- Bilingual candidates with medical fluency in Spanish are highly preferred
