Job Summary
Seeking an Alabama Licensed Obesity Medicine Physician for a modified full-time (32 hrs/week) remote position, responsible for providing telehealth care focused on evidence-based obesity treatment, collaborating with a care team, and managing patient treatment plans.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and treatment planning for obesity management
- Ensure adherence to clinical documentation and treatment protocols within the team
- Participate in team-based care initiatives and contribute to quality improvement efforts
Required qualifications
- MD or DO degree with board certification; must be an ABOM diplomate
- Licensed to practice in Alabama, Missouri, or Mississippi, with multi-state practice capability
- Experience in telemedicine and collaborative practice with dietitians and advanced practice professionals
- Commitment to high-quality, evidence-based obesity management
- Bilingual candidates with medical fluency in Spanish are highly preferred
