Job Summary

A company is looking for a Physical Therapist Reviewer-PRN.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret patient records to determine the appropriateness of care
• Determine approval or initiate referrals to physician consultants based on review findings
• Maintain confidentiality of medical records and adhere to HIPAA policies

Required Qualifications

• Active unrestricted Physical Therapy license with the Alabama Board of Physical Therapy
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy/rehab environment
• Must reside within the state of Alabama
• Knowledge of Medicaid wheelchair policy and evaluations
• Medical record abstracting skills
