Job Summary

To expand access to essential mental health services, an Alabama Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide expert psychiatric care and pharmacological management remotely as an independent contractor, formulating evidence-based treatment plans and maintaining clinical documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver expert-level psychiatric care and pharmacological management through a secure telehealth platform
• Formulate and execute comprehensive, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation in compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements

Required qualifications

• Active, unencumbered state license as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
• Current DEA certification or ability to obtain registration prior to credentialing
• Technical proficiency in remote health platforms and digital communication tools
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work effectively in an autonomous, remote environment
