Job Summary

To support a growing virtual psychiatry practice, the full-time Alabama Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide remote outpatient psychiatric care for lower to moderate acuity populations, managing patient evaluations, treatment planning, and medication management with minimal administrative burden.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients
• Provide medication management and supportive therapy in a fully remote setting
• Collaborate within an integrated care model, utilizing in-house referral networks for enhanced patient support

Required qualifications

• Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
• Active, unrestricted license with autonomous practice authority in Alabama
• Minimum of 3 years post-graduate clinical experience as a PMHNP
• Experience in delivering outpatient psychiatric care
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records for documentation
