Job Summary

To support the special education evaluation process, the part-time Alabama Licensed School Psychometrist will prepare, administer, and document psychological and educational assessments remotely, collaborating closely with school personnel and case managers to ensure compliance with IDEA timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and administer psychological and educational assessments using virtual tools
• Explain testing procedures to students and assist in maintaining compliance with testing protocols
• Coordinate testing logistics and maintain records of assessment materials and supplies

Required qualifications

• Certification in school psychometry from a state-approved program meeting Alabama State Department of Education requirements
• Minimum of two years of experience in administering psycho-educational assessments
• Experience with school-based evaluations and virtual assessment preferred
• Strong knowledge of standardized testing procedures and confidentiality expectations
• Ability to work at least 20 hours per week during school hours with a consistent schedule
