Job Summary
To support the recovery of injured employees, the part-time Alabama Licensed Telephonic Case Manager will conduct clinical assessments, facilitate communication among stakeholders, and develop case management strategies while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Perform initial and ongoing clinical assessments via telephone to evaluate the injured worker's needs
- Communicate effectively and build relationships with claims examiners, clients, and medical providers
- Identify issues related to recovery delays and negotiate treatment plans with providers
Required qualifications
- Current unrestricted RN license in a state or territory of the United States
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience preferred
- Certification in case management, rehabilitation nursing, or a related specialty is highly preferred
