Job Summary

To shape a growing portfolio, the full-time remote Alabama Licensed Underwriter will evaluate new business, renewals, and complex submissions while providing strategic guidance and market insights to agency partners.

Key responsibilities

• Translate risk analysis into portfolio-level decisions focused on long-term profitability
• Act as a strategic underwriting voice and trusted advisor to agency partners, offering creative solutions and market insights
• Monitor market intelligence and trends to inform underwriting strategy and identify growth opportunities

Required qualifications

• 3-7 years of Property & Casualty underwriting experience in relevant lines
• Proven track record of building strong agency relationships
• Sharp analytical instincts with clear communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, or a related field preferred
