Job Summary
To support aspiring educators, the part-time Alabama/North Carolina edTPA Coach will provide individualized coaching, expert guidance, and structured support to teacher candidates preparing for the edTPA assessment, working remotely with variable hours based on seasonal demand.
Key responsibilities
- Help candidates navigate edTPA complexities, including artifact creation and submission requirements
- Provide one-on-one coaching and targeted feedback on edTPA portfolio artifacts
- Facilitate peer mentoring and cohort-based learning experiences via Zoom
Required qualifications
- Active state-specific teaching certification in Alabama or North Carolina
- Master's Degree in Education or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience
- Experience supporting edTPA preparation and submission processes
- Prior experience as an edTPA scorer is a plus
