Job Summary
To support regulatory compliance and licensing management, the part-time Alarm Licensing Specialist will oversee alarm company licenses across multiple states, ensuring adherence to state laws and facilitating the company's expansion into new jurisdictions.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the company's designated licensing qualifier, managing alarm company licenses and ensuring compliance with state regulations
- Research, prepare, and submit license applications, renewals, and regulatory filings while maintaining comprehensive licensing records
- Advise executive leadership on licensing strategy and regulatory risks, and develop compliance procedures and training materials
Required qualifications
- Minimum of two years of professional experience in alarm system operations, sales, or monitoring
- Knowledge and qualifications necessary to serve as a licensing qualifier in multiple jurisdictions
- Demonstrated understanding of alarm industry operations and regulatory compliance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic document management systems
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret state statutes and regulations
