Job Summary

Transforming complex EHRs into engaging learning experiences, the full-time Alaska Licensed Clinical Informatics Educator will design and deliver innovative training solutions for clinicians and teams, ensuring user confidence and system adoption in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement curriculum rooted in adult learning principles and real-world workflows
• Deliver dynamic virtual classes, self-paced eLearning, and multimedia training content
• Collaborate with clinical informatics partners and stakeholders to enhance user experience and system optimization

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Education, Instructional Design, Adult Learning, or a related field
• Epic certification in assigned modules within 6 months of hire
• 2 years of experience in designing and delivering education and training materials
• 2 years of experience supporting clinical information systems in a healthcare setting
• Active license as a clinician if applicable (e.g., RN, Physical Therapist)
