Alaska Licensed Dental Reviewer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Dental Medical Reviewer (DDS/DMD) - PRN (Remote U.S. within Alaska Time Zone Hours).

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the clinical aspects of the Dental Utilization Management program
• Collaborate on case consultations with the State Medical Director or Program Director
• Participate in appeal hearings and complete secondary-level Dental Utilization Management reviews

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
• State license (D.D.S. or D.M.D.) in good standing
• 5+ years of experience in Utilization Management, Service Authorization, or clinical review processes for Medicaid or large healthcare payers
• Availability for a minimum of four (4) hours per week during Alaska Time Zone business hours
