Alaska Licensed Nurse Manager

Job Summary

To enhance patient care and safety, the full-time salaried Alaska Licensed Nurse Manager will oversee medical staff peer review processes, analyze clinical performance data, and collaborate with healthcare teams to implement quality improvement initiatives, while working onsite in Sitka, Alaska.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and facilitate the Peer Review committee and oversee the development of related policies and procedures
• Conduct clinical reviews of medical records to assess performance, identify improvement areas, and ensure compliance with clinical guidelines
• Communicate findings and recommendations to medical staff leadership and collaborate on addressing performance issues

Required Qualifications:

• Current full, unrestricted Registered Nursing license in Alaska or another U.S. state
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; preference for a master's degree or the ability to pursue one within one year of hire
• Five years of experience in healthcare, with a focus on administration, quality improvement, or case management
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
