Job Summary
To support a growing practice focused on harm reduction, the full-time Alaska Licensed Nurse Practitioner will work remotely to manage and deliver medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD), independently initiating and overseeing buprenorphine treatment in an outpatient setting.
Key responsibilities
- Independently initiate and manage buprenorphine treatment for patients with opioid use disorder
- Provide patient-centered care in a fully remote outpatient environment
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery goals
Required qualifications
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Alaska or other specified states
- At least 6 months of experience in an independent outpatient setting prescribing buprenorphine-based medications
- Ability to work autonomously in a patient-centered practice
- Private workspace with a HIPAA-compliant setup
- Commitment to harm reduction principles and compassionate care
