Job Summary
To support a growing telehealth practice, the part-time Alaska Licensed Nurse Practitioner will conduct clinical evaluations, prescribe and manage GLP-1 medications for weight management patients, and collaborate with a registered dietitian team, all while working remotely on a flexible schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct synchronous telehealth evaluations for new GLP-1 patients, assessing eligibility and treatment goals
- Prescribe and titrate FDA-approved GLP-1 medications under independent prescriptive authority
- Manage follow-up visits, dose titration, and clinical documentation in accordance with state laws
Required qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license with current ANCC or AANP board certification
- Licenses in a minimum of 30 U.S. states, with preference for those granting full independent practice authority
- Minimum 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience in obesity or related conditions
- Proficiency in EHR platforms and comfort in a fully remote clinical environment
- Active NPI and professional liability/malpractice insurance for telehealth encounters
