Job Summary
To support a growing telehealth practice, the full-time Alaska Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will evaluate, diagnose, and treat a variety of psychiatric conditions while working remotely from anywhere in Alaska, with a focus on providing timely care to underserved populations.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients using evidence-based practices, including prescribing medications and delivering psychotherapeutic interventions
- Collaborate with subspecialty psychiatrists and clinical pharmacists on complex cases and contribute to interdisciplinary treatment planning
- Complete accurate documentation for patient encounters in a timely manner, adhering to clinic policies and regulatory requirements
Required qualifications
- MSN or DNP with a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specialization
- Board certification as a PMHNP-BC
- Active, unrestricted Alaska Nurse Practitioner license or eligibility for one before the start date
- Clinical experience diagnosing and treating psychiatric conditions
