Alaska Licensed School Psychologist

Job Summary

A School District is seeking a School Psychologist to work remotely for the upcoming school year.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, and socio-emotional functioning
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies
• Provide counseling and support services to students dealing with academic, behavioral, and emotional challenges

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
• School Psychologist Certification in Alaska
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a School Psychologist in a school setting
• Strong knowledge of assessment tools and techniques, as well as relevant laws and regulations
