Job Summary
To support a growing educational practice, the part-time hourly Alaska Licensed Speech Language Pathologist will evaluate and treat school-aged students virtually, ensuring the development and application of evidence-based speech programs and maintaining compliance with established policies and regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate and diagnose speech and language deficits for students through virtual sessions
- Develop and implement effective treatment programs and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with parents, school personnel, and students regarding testing results and treatment approaches
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in communication disorders or speech-language pathology and at least 1 year of experience in an educational setting
- SLP Licensure or eligibility to obtain, with an Alaska Speech License preferred
- Completion of the Clinical Fellowship experience with ASHA CCC awarded
- Previous teletherapy experience is preferred
- Experience with school-based therapy PK-12 and familiarity with a variety of speech and cognitive disorders
